Traffic Pattern Changes - Beginning Wednesday, September 6, 2017 Beginning as early as Wednesday, September 6th, 2017, the contractor will begin road work on the north half of University Avenue from Midway Drive to the west approximately 750 feet. Traffic will be shifting head to head on the south half of University Avenue as shown on the attached map. The lane closures will be in effect for ten (10) to twelve (12) weeks, depending on the weather. Business access will be maintained during the lane closures. All other traffic control in the Phase 2 project limits will remain unchanged. See the map showing how to access the area.
Traffic Pattern Changes - Beginning Monday, August 28, 2017 Traffic will be switched head to head onto the new University Avenue south (eastbound) lanes from McClain Drive to just west of Veralta Drive at Bickford Cottage. This will allow removals to begin on the existing north (westbound) lanes between McClain Drive and Bickford Cottage. Business accesses will be maintained during construction. All other traffic control in the Phase 2 project limits will remain unchanged.
University Avenue Phase 1 has been fully opened to allow traffic to travel through the site without any lane restrictions. There are a few miscellaneous items that still need to be addressed before there is no construction activity along the project. Thank you for your patience throughout the Phase 1 construction.
